Stomach ulcers are a very unpleasant disease that damages the stomach lining and can penetrate deep into the stomach wall. In addition to medical treatment, it is possible to treat stomach ulcers with folk remedies, which can help to completely forget about this disease.
Consequences of the Disease
Under the destructive influence of an ulcer, the stomach wall can rupture, allowing stomach acid and contents to leak into the abdominal cavity, causing peritonitis. If an ulcer causes a blood vessel to burst, it can lead to stomach bleeding, requiring immediate hospitalization.
Typical Symptoms
A typical symptom of a stomach ulcer is a feeling of pressure right after eating. This disease can result from hereditary predisposition, psychosocial stress, increased stomach acidity, taking certain medications, circulatory disorders, etc.
Prevention of the Disease
To prevent this disease, it’s necessary to maintain good health: move more, practice breathing exercises, and ensure adequate sleep. Limit the consumption of coffee, tea, alcohol, and tobacco. Avoid stress and nervous tension, and eat small meals 5-6 times a day.
To soothe the stomach and reduce acidity, lean foods or a mono-diet can be used. Even after full recovery, fatty foods such as pork and smoked meats should be avoided. Citrus fruits and spicy seasonings are also not recommended. Instead of tea, it is better to brew chamomile flowers, peppermint, or flax seeds. At the end of the workday, relaxing, meditating, and using affirmation techniques are beneficial.
Folk Remedies
This disease often accompanies duodenal ulcers, so folk remedies for stomach ulcers are also applicable to duodenal ulcers. Here are some effective folk remedies:
