Treatment of Dermatitis at Home:

  • Inflammatory skin processes, itching, eczema, irritation: Prepare a decoction of birch buds using a glass of buds in a glass of boiling water. Boil the buds for 15-20 minutes, cool, and strain. Use this decoction to wipe the skin daily.
  • For disinfecting wounds and rashes in dermatitis: Prepare an ointment from St. John’s wort juice. Reduce the juice of St. John’s wort by half and mix it with butter in a ratio of 1:4. Store in the refrigerator.
  • For inflamed skin and severe peeling: An ointment made of milk and glycerin will help. Take 1 tbsp of fresh milk and the same amount of glycerin, add some rice starch, and mix well to get a thick paste. Apply the ointment to the peeling skin before bed, and wash it off with warm water in the morning. It’s best to wash off the ointment with an infusion or decoction of linden flowers.
  • For lubricating affected skin areas: Make an ointment from 20-25 g of fresh St. John’s wort flowers and leaves, soaked in 200-250 g of olive, flaxseed, or sunflower oil. After infusing in a warm place for 2 weeks with frequent stirring, strain and store in a dark container.
  • For treating dermatitis, purulent wounds, and purulent eczema, as well as burns: Grate raw potatoes and apply them to the affected skin area.
  • For lubricating affected skin and relieving itching: Mix equal parts of Kalanchoe juice and honey and let the mixture infuse for a week. After this, add the same amount of aloe juice and let it infuse for another week.
  • For skin inflammation: Make compresses from the following mixture: 50 g of celery juice, 50 g of table vinegar, and 2 g of table salt.
  • For dermatitis: Drink celery root juice, 1-2 tsp 2-3 times a day, half an hour before meals. To obtain the juice, grate the celery root or pass it through a meat grinder, then squeeze the mixture.
  • For treating purulent inflammations, itching, and excessive sweating: Prepare an ointment from 50 ml of fresh cranberry juice and 200 g of petroleum jelly. Mix the ingredients well and apply the ointment to the affected areas.
  • For treating skin diseases: Prepare an infusion from agrimony, field horsetail, large plantain leaves, and rose flowers, taken in equal proportions. Mix everything and separate 2 tbsp of the mixture, pour half a liter of boiling water, let it infuse for an hour, and strain. Drink half a glass 4 times a day before meals.
  • For treating radiation skin damage, bedsores, and trophic ulcers, and for lubricating nipple cracks: Use rosehip seed oil as an ointment. For dermatitis, also drink it, 1 tsp at a time.
  • For inflammatory dermatoses: Apply an ointment made from 1 part of meadowsweet root powder and 2 parts of butter to the affected areas.
  • For skin disease: Prepare an infusion of 1 tbsp of dandelion leaves and 2 cups of boiling water. After infusing, strain and drink half a cup 4 times a day.
  • For acute dermatitis: Make compresses from 10 g of dried narrow-leaved willow herb leaves brewed with a cup of boiling water and simmered for another 15 minutes.
  • For treating skin dermatitis: Compresses from nettle infusion are effective. For this, take 4-5 tsp of crushed white dead-nettle flowers per cup of boiling water. Let it infuse, strain. The strained mass is used for the compress, and the infusion is drunk, but with caution.
  • For dermatitis: Make compresses from fresh chopped celery leaves. Also, drink 200 ml of celery root infusion per day. To do this, finely chop celery roots and soak them in cold water for 2 hours.
  • Chafing and cracks on the feet: Treat with foot baths using plantain infusion. Take 2 tbsp of crushed plantain herbs and pour over a liter of warm water. Soak your feet in the water for 15-20 minutes.
