Diet of Johanna Budwig and Fasting Against Cancer

Thanks to the oncology research of biochemist Johanna Budwig, the “Budwig Diet” emerged.

The foundation of the Budwig Diet is the restriction of harmful food products and the consumption of certain combinations of beneficial foods.

To create the beneficial mixture, two main ingredients are required: quark (fat content up to 2%) and flaxseed oil.

Fasting

One of the justifications for this method is stress.

Tumors do not receive nourishment during fasting, hindering their growth.

However, during fasting, not only cancer cells but also immune cells, which should assist the body in fighting the tumor, lack nutrition.

Therefore, fasting does not always contribute to getting rid of cancerous formations.
