CALMING HERBAL BATH

To improve your health even better Find the Best Vitamins and Minerals on Amazon.

To relieve psychoemotional tension or restore normal body functioning after stress, medicinal herbs can be effectively used. They work well on the nervous system not only when taken internally but also when applied externally. Therefore, we will discuss herbal baths.

During such a water procedure, healing plant components penetrate the body through two pathways: through the skin and the respiratory system. The action of warm water itself also contributes to well-being: it relaxes muscles and relieves tension. Herbal baths alleviate symptoms of nervous system disorders such as poor sleep, irritability, and low mood.

Herbal baths can be prepared from a variety of plants and their combinations: mint, lemon balm, sage, thyme, lavender, chamomile, eucalyptus, etc.

In case of nervous system disorders, herbal baths should be taken 2–3 times a week. After complete recovery, this method can be continued for general well-being.

To prepare a calming herbal bath, herbs are not added directly. First, an infusion should be made from the plant material. The recipe is provided below.

  3. Place the herbs in a saucepan and pour the prepared decoction over them. Wait until the mixture boils.
  4. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture infuse for half an hour.
