As recommended by traditional folk medicine, many women are familiar with the painful sensations during menstruation. Parsley can help alleviate these discomforts.
To do this, prepare a decoction or infusion from parsley leaves and roots (1:20 ratio) and drink a quarter of a glass three times a day, 30 minutes before meals.
Parsley is effective for edema, including swelling of the lower eyelids. Grind the roots and greens through a meat grinder, pour boiling water in a ratio of 1:2, and let it infuse in warmth for 8-10 hours. Then strain, squeeze, and add the juice of one lemon. Take one-third of a glass three times a day before meals for 3-5 days (but not during pregnancy). It is advisable not to take the parsley infusion on an empty stomach to avoid irritating the stomach mucosa.
Parsley is also beneficial for acne and pimple rash. Pass parsley through a juicer. Wipe the face, previously cleansed of cosmetics, with parsley juice twice or thrice a day for at least 2-3 weeks.
Parsley is used for the overall detoxification of the body from salts. To do this, wash parsley with roots, finely chop the greens, and grate the roots. Put a glass of parsley in a saucepan, pour two cups of boiling water, and let it infuse. Drink for 10 days, then take a break for two days, and continue drinking for another 10 days. This regimen helps cleanse blood vessels, joints, and the liver.
