Nettle Tea for Weight Loss

Nettle is a source of vitamins and micronutrients, organic acids, and chlorophyll. It is used for the treatment of diseases and the elimination of cosmetic problems, as well as consumed as a beneficial food product.

In dietetics, nettle tea is used for several reasons. This beverage is effective in reducing excess water retention, as it easily eliminates excess water. It is also beneficial for eliminating toxins, for example, in combination with lemon or green tea leaves.

Nettle tea for weight loss helps to reduce appetite: the key is to drink it some time before meals. It also makes it easier to cope with the refusal of overly calorie-rich foods:

the beneficial substances in nettle tea help the body avoid feelings of hunger by influencing protein and carbohydrate metabolism. Making nettle tea with dried leaves is preferable, as unlike a concentrated decoction, it can be consumed over an extended period.
