USEFUL BEVERAGES FOR TREATING DUPUYTREN’S CONTRACTURE
Experts in official and traditional medicine recommend consuming a large amount of fluids in the therapy of any disorders of the connective-tissue apparatus. Abundant drinking promotes the acceleration of metabolic processes, the elimination of waste products, and toxic compounds. It positively affects overall health and helps mobilize the body to fight pathology. Patients with Dupuytren’s contracture benefit from drinking plenty of plain water, unsalted table mineral water, vegetable, and fruit juices. The following beverages also have a general strengthening and tonic effect:
Squeeze the juice from a glass of fresh or frozen cranberries, pour it into a separate container. Add 0.5 liters of hot water and 3-4 tablespoons of sugar to the remaining pulp, simmer on low heat for 3-5 minutes. Cool, strain, mix with the juice, and consume 0.3 glasses 2-3 times a day after meals.
Bring a glass of milk to a boil, add a pinch of propolis, simmer for another 10 minutes. Cool, add a tablespoon of honey, and drink throughout the day.
Green tea with motherwort, lemon balm, and sage helps improve well-being. To the hot infusion, add honey, wild berries, and diced fruits to taste.
Treatment of Dupuytren’s contracture at home is effective only at stage 1 severity of the disease, when there are minor changes in the tendons. The most effective way to overcome the pathology is surgical removal of fibrotic areas.
