CHAMOMILE AND THYME INFUSION RECIPE AGAINST DYSBIOSIS

Dysbiosis, or dysbiosis, is a disturbance in the normal state of the intestinal microbiological environment, leading to a malfunction of its activities.

Under normal conditions, the intestinal flora consists of a balanced ratio of beneficial and pathogenic bacteria. In dysbiosis, the latter begin to prevail. Such disruptions occur due to infection, improper nutrition, stress, medication use, and hormonal changes in the body.

To normalize the bacterial environment of the intestine, a complex of measures is prescribed: the use of antibacterial and antiseptic drugs, probiotics, vitamins to support the immune system, and a proper diet.

Along with this, it is recommended to consume herbal remedies that alleviate symptoms of dysbiosis:

  • Flatulence
  • Abdominal distension
  • Unpleasant taste in the mouth
  • Diarrhea or constipation, etc.

Chamomile and thyme possess these properties. They reduce putrefactive processes in the intestines, alleviate inflammation, and also have a positive effect on the functioning of other digestive system organs such as the pancreas and liver.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 0.5 tbsp of Thyme herb
  • 0.5 tbsp of Chamomile flowers

PREPARATION:

  1. Bring 450–500 ml of water to a boil.
  2. Place chamomile and thyme in a saucepan and pour boiling water over them.
  3. Put the container on a boiling water bath. Let the mixture simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. Remove the decoction and leave it for 45 minutes.
  5. Strain the remedy.
  6. Take half a cup three times a day.

EFFECT:

  • Reduction of inflammation.
  • Decrease in gas formation.
  • Elimination of an unpleasant taste in the mouth, nausea.
  • Normalization of stool.
