Hello, dear readers. Today, let’s talk about a condition called cystitis. When dealing with cystitis, I primarily prefer herbal treatments. I used to suffer from frequent cystitis, taking so many medications, but I never noticed much effect—either they provided a therapeutic effect, or my condition had progressed to a chronic form. The slightest cold exposure, and everything would flare up again and again. Once, I visited my grandmother, and in conversation, I mentioned that I constantly had cystitis and was just exhausted from it. My grandmother advised me to try herbal treatments that she used. And when the pain started again in the fall after I got soaked in the rain, resulting in cystitis, I decided to follow my grandmother’s advice. Thank God it helped, and I forgot about cystitis for a long time.

Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder. It can be acute or chronic. The main cause of cystitis is an infection that enters the bladder through the urethra.

A dairy-plant-based diet is suitable.

Cystitis. Herbal Treatment. Chamomile is very effective for cystitis. Use two tablespoons of dried flowers for two glasses of water. Bring the chamomile to a boil and simmer for five minutes, then let it steep for about twenty minutes, and strain the decoction. Drink a glass three times a day.

For me, for example, warming helps a lot. My grandmother, who always used this method for cystitis, advised me. Take a glass bottle, preferably one with dark glass, fill it with hot water, and screw the cap on tightly. I apply the bottle of hot water through a cloth to the sore abdomen. Unfortunately, this method isn’t suitable for everyone, as it can cause menstruation to start early. Also, avoid warming if you have a fever or blood in your urine.

For cystitis, brew some St. John’s wort. Take a tablespoon of crushed dried herb, pour a glass of boiling water over it, steep for twenty minutes, then strain. Drink half a glass twice a day.

A decoction made from rosehip roots helps with cystitis. Take two tablespoons of crushed roots, pour two glasses of water over them, and bring to a boil. Simmer for ten minutes, strain the decoction, and drink 1/4 cup three times a day.

Bearberry leaves are very effective for cystitis as they have disinfectant, diuretic, and pain-relieving properties. Take five grams of leaves, pour 200 ml of water over them, simmer for 15 minutes in a water bath, strain, and take a tablespoon of the decoction four times a day.

If your cystitis is accompanied by sharp pain, flaxseed can help relieve the pain. Pour one teaspoon of seeds with 200 ml of water and simmer for five minutes over low heat, then let it steep for 15 minutes, strain, add a spoonful of natural honey to the decoction, and drink it in small sips over an hour. The pain subsides.

During cystitis, drink more herbal teas, and the pathogenic microflora will be flushed out. Moreover, herbal treatment also reduces inflammation and relieves pain. Additionally, drink cranberry juice, which has anti-inflammatory and strong antibacterial properties. However, avoid cranberry juice if you have gastritis or a stomach ulcer.

Cystitis is a very unpleasant illness, but herbal treatment can help ease the pain and reduce inflammation. However, in any case, at the first signs of cystitis, it’s best to see a doctor, get a urine test, and any other necessary tests, and consult the doctor regarding the use of herbs and folk remedies.
