Various lung and respiratory diseases begin to affect a person from early childhood. These conditions are often exacerbated by the consumption of fatty foods, bread, and sweets, as they promote the formation and accumulation of phlegm. As people age, their lungs become polluted by smog, cigarette smoke, and other harmful substances. To ensure that the respiratory system functions properly, it is recommended to cleanse the lungs with folk remedies at least once a year.
Cleansing the Lungs with Pine Milk
This method is suitable for both smokers and non-smokers, as well as those who frequently suffer from various lung diseases. To prepare the remedy, three large pine cones and a piece of pine resin are thoroughly washed and placed in a pot with half a liter of hot milk. The pot is wrapped in a towel and left to steep for 4-5 hours. The infusion should be taken in the morning on an empty stomach, one glass at a time. The full course of this lung cleansing lasts for 2 months. A thermos can be used instead of a pot, and the cones can be reused 2-3 times.
Cleansing with Pine Jam
To prepare this, a kilogram of green pine cones is washed, covered with cold water (about 20 cm above the level of the cones), and simmered on low heat for about 8 hours. During cooking, it is necessary to stir occasionally and remove any foam. The decoction is then strained, the cones are discarded, and an equal amount of sugar is added to the remaining liquid, which is then cooked for another hour. The resulting jam should be eaten on an empty stomach, 20 minutes before meals, 2 tablespoons at a time.
Onion-Garlic Remedy
To prepare an onion-garlic remedy for lung cleansing, finely chop garlic and onion, sprinkle with sugar, and leave in a warm place for 2 hours. Take one teaspoon three times a day for several months.
Cleansing the Lungs with Oregano Tea
This remedy will help cleanse the lungs without an expectorant effect. Mix one tablespoon each of tricolor violet and oregano, pour 0.5 liters of boiling water, and steep for an hour. For the best results, drink this tea for a month, a few glasses at a time, without adding sugar.
Viburnum Berries
An excellent remedy for cleansing the lungs is a decoction of viburnum berries with honey. To prepare it, pour a liter of boiling water over a glass of fresh or dried berries, simmer on low heat for about 7 minutes, then pour into a thermos. Add 3 tablespoons of honey and let it steep in the thermos for 2-3 hours. Drink this decoction 3-4 times a day, 100 ml each time.
Cleansing the Lungs with Breathing Exercises
In addition to using folk remedies, lung cleansing is also aided by breathing exercises. To perform this, take a deep breath through the nose and hold your breath for a while. Purse your lips as if blowing through a straw, but do not puff out your cheeks. Exhale a small amount of air through the mouth, releasing only a small portion of air from the lungs. Hold your breath again. Then exhale another small portion of air and hold your breath again, and so on until there is no air left in the lungs. Repeat 3-5 times. Perform this exercise three times a day for at least a month. After that, to maintain the effect, you can reduce it to once a day.
