Calamus, as a medicinal remedy, has been known since ancient times, and legends have even been created about it. In Ukraine, it grows in the highlands of the Carpathians and has acquired the name Carpathian ginseng due to its special properties. In ancient times, it was called the “powerful one.” In medicine, the root of the plant is used. Thanks to its essential oils, it has a spicy, slightly bitter aroma.
This is a versatile natural remedy that is beneficial for internal use, for the digestive tract and blood-forming system, and for external use in the oral cavity.
