Folk Remedies for Allergy Treatment

Not only pills can help with unpleasant allergy symptoms. Grandma’s pharmacy recipes, namely folk remedies for allergies, can also cope with this. There are numerous truly effective ways to relieve initial symptoms or even completely get rid of the disease using various herbs and collections.

But first…

To begin with, let’s determine the type of your allergy, and then we’ll choose a treatment method. By allergy, we mean the body’s reaction to certain substances called allergens. Allergic individuals almost immediately react to such substances, and in order to avoid negative consequences, they have to take various medications. Allergy symptoms can vary from skin rashes to nasal congestion and sneezing. Common allergens include plant pollen, animal fur, seasonal changes, and so on.
There are several types of allergies you should know about:

Hay Fever.
It occurs in different weather seasons, but exacerbations mainly occur when plants bloom in spring. Allergens for this type of allergy can be plant pollen, animal fur. Symptoms of hay fever can include fatigue, itchy and watery eyes, sneezing, and in some cases, even coughing.
Skin Rashes.
Skin rashes or eruptions can occur when the body encounters an allergen in the food it consumes. Rashes can also appear if the skin comes into contact with a chemical substance, such as various detergents or cleaning agents, of which there are many on the shelves. In some cases, a rash may occur due to an insect bite or due to stress.
Anaphylactic Shock.
This type of allergy poses a huge danger. Symptoms of anaphylactic shock can include difficulty breathing, shock, low blood pressure. If not treated promptly, it can result in death. In some cases, shock occurs during tests for various allergies, and it can also be caused by various medications, such as antibiotics or even vitamins. Anaphylactic shock can also occur due to a bee or wasp sting.
How to Get Rid of Allergic Reactions
Keep in mind!
First of all, it is necessary to identify the substance that triggers it, namely the allergen. This can be done by conducting several allergy tests. Once the allergen is identified, try to avoid contact with it. Sometimes the allergen is not immediately obvious. During a visit to an allergist, a person will be given a long list of things to avoid, but these may not be the exact things or food that cause the allergic reaction. During an allergy, histamine is released into the blood, which causes various negative reactions. To block its release, allergy medications must be used.
Now let’s take a closer look at each of the folk medicine recipes, and you will find the one that will definitely help you in treatment.
Herbal Collection from Granny Martha
One of the most common recipes for treating allergy is a mixture of herbs that needs to be consumed for 3 weeks.
It consists of:
• Elderflower – 2 tbsp.
• Ground ivy, sage, cowslip roots – 1 tbsp.
• Hellebore, licorice root – 1 tsp.
Grind the large herbs, then mix everything and pour 1 tbsp. of the mixture with 250ml of hot water (preferably in a thermos) and infuse for 8 hours, then strain. For allergy treatment, the herbal mixture is taken 4 times a day before meals. After a week, the daily dose should be increased by 500ml. After three weeks, the collection should be replaced with raspberry infusion. It is made from 50g of common raspberry roots, which are poured with half a liter of cold water and boiled for 40 minutes over low heat. The infusion should be taken 3 times a day, 2 tbsp. each.

Folk Tricks
Sunflower seeds without salt can also help with allergies. Many people have also been helped by eggshell, or more precisely, the powder from it. You need to grind the shell into powder and take it with a couple of drops of lemon juice, half a teaspoon each. Another effective method is to chew honeycomb caps, which should be done for half an hour several times a day.
Valuable advice!
Folk remedies for allergies can be varied, and they don’t necessarily have to be herbs. For example, there is an interesting hardening method against cold allergy symptoms. In some way, you can help your body without pills or decoctions, but by “showing” it how to cope without them. When you start to harden regularly, the cold allergy will retreat. Initially, you can apply a thin layer of cream to your hands and face, gradually getting rid of it. Over time, you will see how the cold stops affecting you negatively.
